In August and September 2025, Heeley Trust and Growing Circles asked residents from Gleadless Valley to capture the character, beauty and imagination of life in the Valley under the themes of Landscape – Architecture – Life – Dreams.

Following on from the Photography Competition, Heeley Trust Community Hub will be announcing the winners across their intragram and facebook through Winners Wednesday.

Gleadless Exhibition
We’re going to exhibit all entries alongside a selection from FilmFam’s youth competition at the Victorian Fayre at Gaunt shops on the 6th December.
Yorkshire Artspace
Yorkshire Artspace are really enthusiastic about the project and are keen to bring the exhibition of the photos from both competitions, along with the wider FilmFam project work, to one of their public art galleries in town. This will be organised for the New Year including an opening event.
